My Dear (Mila Moya) Viewer,
I’d like to introduce to Mila Moya.
Let’s start from the beginning. A 10 year old girl, enamoured with the world and obsessed with making clothes for her barbies decides she wants to have a fashion brand in the future. Then a 15 year old girl, struck by the beauty of art and craftsmanship and starting to better understand the bittersweet reality behind the fashion industry, she decides she wants to have a fashion brand focused on ethics and elegant craftsmanship. And now, at 21 years old she is starting to find her voice and piece together a brand that represents elegance, timelessness and artisans.
The name “Mila Moya” translates to “my dear” in Bulgarian, paying homage to my family’s roots and my Bulgarian heritage. As a designer, the world is my muse. Everything I see whether fashion or not, and everyone I meet plays a big part in the inspiration behind my collections.
Mila Moya emphasises slow fashion, prioritising quality over quantity and sustainability over fast trends. Each garment is made with love and intention, so that they not only look good but also feel good. We aim to create timeless and effortless pieces that you’ll cherish for years to come.
We aspire to continue growing and travelling so that we can share the beauty of the world, through fashion, with all of you.
With Love

Values

                      Sustainability

We prioritise sustainable materials and, if not, high-quality and durable materials. We also produce a very limited quantity per collection to avoid waste. We continually strive to improve with each collection.

                      Ethics

We always keep in mind where we are purchasing materials and who we are working, ensuring fair pay and ethical treatment to all workers..

                      Manufacturing

For now, we work with independent seamstresses, meaning we keep very close contact with them to ensure their wellbeing throughout the projects and that they are receiving the wage that they set.

                      Goals

In the future, we aim to elevate our sustainability efforts by innovating our fabric choices. We also aspire to work with artisans and charities and create beautiful, unmissable collections.
